Delicious food and staff was friendly !!

Podnuh's used to be my favorite BBQ place...mainly for the beans and potato salad. Went there today and was really disappointed. Brisket was dry, potato salad was good. They've obviously changed the bean recipe. Now they're basically picnic beans. Looking for a new BBQ place now.

Always delicious BBQ! This is the best location for the local chain. Sure it's old but the BBQ is the best at this location. The managers and staff here are always super friendly as well!!

By far the best location to eat at!!! The two closest to my house are not as friendly and the food isn't anywhere as good in my opinion

Had the "1 meat plate" with sliced brisket, green beans/potatoes, and cole slaw with a Diet Coke on tap.The brisket was decent, but was slighty dry as if it were the ends of a brisket that had been waiting a bit too long on the counter. Beans were slightly overdone. Cole slaw had too much sugar and way too much mayo mixture added. Diet Coke was great... perfect mix of CO2 and syrup.My main gripe on this trip is the facility. It requires a floor to ceiling detailed scrubbing. Seriously, the whole place... starting with the floors and especially the tables and chairs. There is a thick accumulation of grease and cleaning supply residue on all horizontal surfaces.Meat server needs to wear a new pair of disposible gloves on each approach to the cutting board.... especially if they leave the serving area and touch the register.I'm an old dining facility officer, so I notice things others don't, but these are major issues even a beginner manager should catch.

Had the beef sandwich. It was alright.i am more use to places that cut or chop right of slab, usually brisket. Theirs was in a steamer container with sauce. Not sure what cut of beef. They keep their sauce hot as well guess I am just not a fan of that. To liquid. Beans and slaw we're good.

Beans beans and more beans. Sausage, brisket and pulled pork are too notch. I haven't tried the ribs or chicken for some time, but it should still be good.

It was okay just a required taste for some of the food but good over all.

Everything was nice and tender. The flavor of the meat left something to be desired. Tasted like it was over smoked. Too bitter. The barbecue sauce was definitely too sour for me. Not savory enough. Greens had this weird bitter smokey flavor to em. Corn had literally no seasoning on it. Service was average. Really the whole thing was just average.

Food is okay... Last visit the pork was fatty but that is not the norm. Staff is nice and the cafeteria style service makes it quick and convenient. Good lunch choice

This location had gone way down hill since I was here last a couple years ago. The drink fountain was almost completely carbonation and after my 3rd attempt on a decent drink I gave up and I got sick to my stomach shortly after I left. Pretty sad bc this used to be my favorite bbq place.

Chicken had no taste and was way overcooked (one step away from jerky.) Sausage wasn't great either.

They are awesome! Best Bbq anywhere. The employees are friendly, and theyre very hard working people. This is a must stop, everyone I come to town. Great selection of veggies too, and banana pudding and a couple other desserts. I can't praise them enough

Meat was great! Sides are mediocre.

Had the Rib and brisket 2 meat plate. The ribs were about as good as you can great . The brisket was pretty good too. Good price an quick.

Excellent BBQ turkey

The BBQ here is great. You can always count on them to be very consistent with their portions and cooking. The atmosphere is that of an old place that needs some upkeep. But let's face it, a good BBQ place should look a little run down. My suggestion is the Pod-tato. It's a massive spud covered in your favorite meat and cheese.

Staff was so friendly and food was SO delicious!!! Wish we had one in Texarkana because this place is a thousand times better than Big Jake's. If I lived in Shreveport, I'd be a repeat customer for sure!

Customer service was horrible. Food was okay, but I didn't receive what I asked for.

I got the pulled pork sandwich, it did not disappoint. Really enjoy eating here. I just think its kind of pricey, but thats most places these days

Baked beans didn't taste good. I asked if the brisket was fresh and it was very dry.

Food wasn't what I eexpected it to be. Potato salad was nasty. Ribs was charred over and I've had better baked potatoes at Willis Knighton hospital

BBQ ribs and brisket tasted old. I couldn't even chew it. Very disappointed, especially when you pay that much for food.

Potato salad was horrible. Very warm (should be cold) and salty other than that very good barbecue.
